Open position for PhD researcher: Programming models and compilers for next-gen communication systems

We are looking for a highly talented researcher to work on programming languages, source-to-source compilation, code optimization for emerging computing platforms, in the particular domain of next generation communication systems (e.g., 5G and 6G). This is a collaborative research with experts in communication systems and computer architecture. More information here

Open position for PhD researcher: Compilers for systems with emerging memories

We are looking for a highly talented researcher to work on compiler representations and optimizations for systems with emerging memory technologies, in particular with spintronic non-volatile memories. In Dresden, the successful applicant will have the unique opportunity to directly collaborate with researchers working at the bleeding edge of memory technologies. More information here

Open position for PhD researcher: Machine learning for code optimizations for emerging artificial intelligence systems

We are looking for a highly talented researcher to work on machine learning models for code and optimization heuristics using bleeding edge machine learning algorithms. The selected candidate will become a member of the vibrant network of researchers at the ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig center, profiting from state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and working directly with experts in future neuromorphic architectures. Student position: Teaching

We are currently looking for students who want to take over seminars in TGI (Technische Grundlagen der Informatik). More details can be found on the TGI webpage

Student assistants

We have constant openings for student assistants. If you are a student interested in research on programming languages, compilers, code optimization, machine learning for code, and emerging computing architectures, we will be happy if you reach out to us. For concrete topics, you can browse the list of Student Projects, have a look at our Research Topics, or look at the individual pages of our staff members.

Initiative applications for PhD and Postdoc positions are also welcome.
